KT Sullivan has an expressive soprano voice and the acting skill to sell any lyric to an audience, from a heart-wrenching ballad to an uptempo showstopper. Mark Nadler is a multithreat performer who can play the piano like a demon, sing, act and joke like a pro - and turn in a rousing tap dance at the same time.
Together, they turned in a magnificent evening of music and comedy Tuesday in the final event of the Grandel Theatre Cabaret's 2002 season.
Billed as "an evening of pure Gershwin," it adds up to two hours of pure entertainment.
It all added up to one of the most memorable evenings in many a Grandel Cabaret season, definitely qualifying as "don't miss" entertainment.
