Dear KT & Mark:

Bravo!  Bravissimo!  Brava!  Bravissima!

Your Cole Porter Tribute, A SWELL PARTY; RSVP COLE PORTER  blossomed into a Mainstage production at the Prince that was truly “Magnifique!”

This 70-minute celebration of the wit and sensuality of Cole Porter was a sell-out success in our 450-seat theater, and by the final performance, even with added chairs in the aisles, we were forced  to turn people away!  Audiences were dazzled by the sheer brilliance of your performances, and the effortless flow of the show from one great Cole Porter tune to another, each performed in original arrangements with impeccable musicianship.

The show looked marvelous on our stage, with the elegant stage drapes, table seating,  and a star backdrop creating the perfect setting.  Mark, your ability to interact with, and even dance with, members of the audience completely was completely winning, and an absolute high point was the unbelievable virtuosity of “Too Darn Hot”.  KT’s silvery sound on “So in Love”, and the “Paris Medley”, were other highlights, and yet another showstopper was the extraordinary sensuality of the saxophone-piano-vocal arrangement of “Begin the Beguine”.

Thanks to you all for your graciousness and warmth.  We hope we will be able to bring this show back for all those who did not get to see it during its brief run.

Warmest regards,
