DRESSING ROOMS
SHIELDS and YARNELL will need two dressing
rooms, if possible.
Temperature should be in the 70-75 degree
range. Dressing rooms should be clean, have adequate lighting for
facial make-up, have clean towels, facial tissues, and a bottle
of Evian water (or some other spring water) in each room. Rooms
should have comfortable chairs and/or couches.
A quick change area off stage right is also
needed. Should have chair, long mirror, small table, and clothes
hanger for costumes.
AUDIO
Both the main house and stage monitor systems
should have a smooth, flat natural response, free from hums, buzzes
or apparent idling noise.

tape playback machine eg. Ampex, Otari, Revox, Tascam - with
10" Reel

When mixing the house system from the audience
area, console should be placed in an advantageous listening position,
clear of walls and balcony overhangings.
STAGING
The stage and acting area must be clean
of dust without splinters or nails protruding from the floor.
Proscenium opening should be approximately
40 feet with black legs, black borders and a rear blackout drape,
all with fullness. The movie screen should be flown in and out with
ease.
Floors should NOT be waxed or slippery for
dance sequences.
The projector must be in good condition
and capable of producing an excellent image in your theatre.
The film supplied does not have an audio track.
LIGHTING
The local lighting staff will pre-hang,
focus and run the show.
Most of the performance is lit down center
with a tree of light stage left and right, and various washes of
light throughout the entire show covering
the entire stage.
Two follow-spots or super troupers are necessary
with ample gels in the spot lights and
in all stage lighting.
One special is mounted on the lip of the stage
hitting center position.
House lights need to be activated easily.
The day before performance, a cueing session
to talk every-thing through and hang lights. A mimum of five or
six hours on day of performance to run through and tighten show.
A two-hour rest period is needed before show.
Lighting should be focused in an even wash
from leg to leg/upstage downstage. The exception is dimmers 23 and
24 which are down center specials; dimmers
46 thru 51 which are distributed evenly as small patches of color
break-up, and dimmer 45 which is a narrow
"ray" look focused to center stage.

INTERVIEWS, etc.
Prior to arrival, notice should be given
to SHIELDS and YARNELL of any press conferences or interviews to
be given before or after the show. They
should also be informed of any receptions being planned.
SHIELDS and YARNELL will receive fans and
guests after the show backstage.
SPECIAL NOTE:
SHIELDS and YARNELL will require a local
person to be a "LATE ARRIVAL" member of the audience.
This person should enter the theatre approximately 10 minutes after
the show starts and assume empty house seat (6 rows towards center)
previously mentioned. This person should coordinate with SHIELDS
and YARNELL or their stage manager.
