David Scheel’s concert on the Isle
of Arran was in every way an out-
standing success. Arran Music’s
largest-ever audience was enchan-
ted, moved and gloriously enter-
tained by the combination of wit,
humour and sheer pianistic brilli-
ance which David provided.
Young and old, musical experts
and willing amateurs, were equally
enthralled by the virtuosity and
charm we experienced. His come-
dy was more than matched by the
beauty of his own compositions. It
was both a privilege and a delight
to have him with us.
