Dear Mr. Berger:
I'm not sure whether you recall, but I wrote earlier this year after
"The Chameleons" engagement at the La Mirada Center For The Performing
Arts." At that time, my purpose was to laud an unexpectedly moving
performance which captivated my entire family; now, I wish to extend
thanks for your inspiration.
Friends of our family are to wed on Saturday, and in their honor
I've prepared a toast. You will, perhaps, recognize the influence
of 'Life Cycle' upon this material, which I've pasted below. Thank
you again for a most memorable experience.

A Wedding Toast

Will all whove gathered here
to celebrate this marriage
now join with me, and raise with me your glasses
in a toast of joy and cheer!
Christopher Robin Hebert
The road this day youve chosen
stretches out before you, in a course
not always smoothly paved
Yet in the days ahead, it is my prayer
that you will find your feet never fall so lightly
upon that road as when upon it you both do tread together.
The Lord bless you, and keep you, and cause
His countenance to shine upon you;
May He cause Heavens blessings to pour
abundantly upon your home,
and hedge it
safe against the cares of life;
May prosperity never forget your dwelling place,
nor may want ere remember where you reside;
May the sounds of joy and harmony fill your home
more pleasantly than the early morning songs of birds;
May you grow to esteem one another more highly
with each passing day, forgiving each the others
flaws, and rejoicing in the love you share;
May God grant that, in time, your love will be
extended to little ones on loan from Him;
May you grow old together with the sound of
laughing grandchildren ringing happily in your ears;
God grant, also, that when you have finished your
appointed journey, you would fall asleep in one anothers arms
Only to be awakened in that glad place
where first your love began, and where then it can never end.
