Known for its circus-like pacing, Snappy Dance Theater appears in the theater as a whirlwind of comedic movement and startlingly beautiful images. The audience is hardly allowed an extra breath during this fast-paced journey exploring human interaction, which juxtaposes absurdly comic situations with poetic and dream-like visions.

Snappy is currently presenting Moving Beyond Balance, a mix of new works such as Vagina (The Dance), commissioned by Harvard University's production of Eve Ensler's Obie Award-winning play, "The Vagina Monologues." This humorous and poetic trio is family friendly and and audience delight.

The program also includes crowd favorites such as Limning Twilight, a beautiful, mesmerizing duet for two women; Pants, an adorable solo for two pairs of legs, and Odd Egg Out, a dance exploring the relationships between characters that evolve out of a nest-like "blob."
